The Pin

Brain: The Pin's kind of a local spook story. You know, the king pin.
Brendan: Heard of him.
Brain: Same thing. Supposed to be old, like 26. Lives in town.
Brendan: Dope runner?
Brain: Big time. See the Pin pipes it from the lowest scrapper to Brad Bramish himself.  Maybe.  Ask any dope rat where the junk sprang and they'll say scraped it off that, who scored it off this, and what after four or five connections the list always ends with the Pin.  But I bet ya got every rat in town together and said 'show your hands' if any of 'em actually seen the pin you'd get a crowd full of pockets.
Brendan: You think the Pin's just a tale to take whatever heat?
Brain: Eh. Well, what's first?
Brendan: Show of hands.
