55. Collateral (dir. Michael Mann, USA, 2004)
A taxi driver (Jamie Foxx) picks up a fare who turns out to be a hitman (Tom Cruise).
Starts off decently, but Mann fairly quickly begins to lose control of the film. Not just the characters losing control - the director. Devolves into a flat, uninteresting mess. Shame. Even unexpected Mark Ruffalo did not help.
Verdict: meh - messy
